Brooklyn’s Forest Fire’s (one of the best myspace urls ever) debut record Survival received praise from just about every media outlet last year when it was quasi-released. It was even named La Blogotheque’s album of the year in 2008. The album, which is a beauty, is set for a proper release courtesy Infinite Best Recordings later this year, hopefully bringing some well deserved attention to one of the hidden gems of last year.
