Brooklyn-based garage-pop featuring name recognition in the form of Vivian Girls’ Cassie Ramone and Woods bassist Kevin Morby. Their Myspace launched yesterday with two tracks to the collective joy of lo-fidelifies everywhere. I usually hate “supergroups,” and Vivian Girls have never been my cup of tea, but The Babies are intriguing to me for some reason.
